Love-hate relationship

Hello!

Haha, I'm trying to blog through my phone, using the blogger app. Wonder how will will this blog post turn out. I shall blog a real short post on my trip to SPCA!

Just last Tuesday, I went SPCA with ahma! I've always wanted to go SPCA since young but didn't had the chance to. My sis just went last year with her CCA and she kept telling me how cute the animals were. So, last Tuesday, I managed to drag ahma with me to SPCA. Haha!

Indeed, the animals were really very cute. Both ahma and I were quite scared at first though as we somehow got this mentality that the dogs will bite and cats will scratch. However, after looking at some of them, we couldn't resist them and went in to one of the dogs' cage. The doggie reminds me of 小白. After going in to one, I suddenly became braver and decided to go in to a puppy's cage. OH MY! The puppy looked So innocent and cute but it's really very playful. He got a thing for shoes. I got kinda taken aback and quickly went out of his cage. Haha!

I miss them already! Going back to SPCA again soon! yey~ can't wait to see those cutie pies!!

A fun day out!

Just the day before, I had to drag myself out of my bed where gravity was weirdly strong, for a date with my cousins. Had a simple breakfast with my parents and off we go, heading towards south of Singapore.  Yes, to Sentosa, to the Universal Studio of Singapore. Yey!! Finally. I was really excited as it was my first time going! THE UNIVERSAL STUDIO OF SINGAPORE!

We went straight for the Transformer ride in the Sci-Fi City once we were in the USS. The waiting time was 20 minutes when we went in. I guess we were quite lucky as the longest waiting time we had to wait was about 45 mins only. The last time my uncle went, he said he had to queue for 2-3 hours for some rides. Back to the Transformer ride. It was fun but definitely not the best ride in USS.
Still in Sci-Fi City, we went to ride the battlestar galactica, human. Which is the one with red track. I wanted to try cylon, the one with blue track but after the red roller coaster, I gave up the thoughts of riding the blue one as your legs would be dangling and it would also be turning upside down. Although I felt quite secured compared to the wooden roller coaster I took in Korea's Everland, it was still very scary. I almost cried. LOL... So, in the end, only one of my cousins and my cousin's boyfriend ride the blue track roller coaster.
Next stop, we went to Ancient Egypt. We saw the Egypt princess with her erm... pets? Haha. We took the Revenge of the Mummy ride. It is an indoor roller coaster. You will be riding in a total darkness and there's surprises in store for you! Haha! It was one of the best rides we took there.
Then, it was time to say bye to the land of mummies and enter the land of dinosaurs. We took the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure ride.It is a water ride. We waited the longest for the this ride. Before we took the ride, the we heard someone saying that there will be a free-fall from 3 storeys. That's insane! However, no matter what, we still decided to give it a try. It was really fun, we got wet but there's no such free-fall from 3 storeys. It was my favourite ride of the day at USS. Had lunch there before flying to somewhere....
....Far far away~~~ We rode the Enchanted Airways ride. It's a roller coaster for children. It's still quite scary for me because I still feel like I am going to fly out. Haha. Then, we went to watch shrek 4-D adventure. It's 4-D, so when the donkey sneezes, you would feel something...
Next stop, Madacascar! We rode the crate adventure. It was a ride to see the adventure of Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria. It was a slow and relaxing ride.
Then, we travel all the way to... HOLLYWOOD! We managed to catch the monster rock performance. It was like a musical performance. It's nice and refreshing! All the pop songs, air-con and a comfy chair for us to relax and enjoy.
Finally, we went to New York! We wanted to go on the Sesame Street Spaghetti Chase. Unfortunately, due to some technical problem, it was closed.
So, we went to the Lights, Camera, Action! Hosted by Steven Spielberg, a very famous producer. We got to see how an empty sound stage becomes the setting for a major hurricane about to hit New York City. Amazing!
There were also performances outside!
After going a round USS, we still have some time left before it closes, we went back to Ancient Egypt for the Treasure Hunters game. It was not as fun as I thought it will be. We didn't really like it.
Then, we continued down the road to the Lost World and took the Canopy Flyer. It was something like Cylon, having our legs dangling but not scary as it. Wanted to take the water games there again but the waiting time is quite long. So, we went to the Ancient Egypt again! HAHA! We took the Revenge of the Mummy ride again! Took another 3 more times as there's no queue at all except that we had to run all the way in as the queuing place was damn long and they won't let us take any short cut. The more we took, the more thrilling and fun it became as we knew where are all the stops and turns and what's going to happen next. Hahah!
The last ride we took before we left USS, was the Accelerator at Sci-Fi City. At first I thought it was like the tea cup game but it turned out that we can't spin on our own and they were not spinning fast enough. However,it was still acceptable.
When we were about to leave, the road at New York was closed. Hence, we had to go one big round and exit from Hollywood. Although it was a big u-turn to exit, we get to enjoy the evening view of the different places. Far far away looks very nice in the evening. We then meet up with my cousin who came down all the way to Sentosa to have dinner with us. So sweet!
If I had a chance, I would definitely go back to USS again! I shall try Cylon the next time I go. Shall muster all the courage I have and ride it!

Pets are for life.

Bonjour!

I'm back! It had been ages since I last wrote. It was all because of all the tutorials, projects, tests and exams. Now, I'm finally free of all those. I am going to be a year 2 student when school reopens! Yey!

Lately, I have been addicted to watching shows, not really shows... more like a documentary such as <<Dog  Whisperer>> and <<Animals Cops>>. Haha, I think I'm really a weirdo. People are addicted to dramas and I'm like addicted to these. But, they are really nice! Back to the topic, after watching <<Animals Cops>>, I felt quite pissed for some of the animals. There's one episode on this abandon house. The owner abandoned this house together with a few dogs. When the animals cops, which are the people from SPCA arrived, they only found two dogs alive. Then they went to search the house. Guess what they found! Puppies and kittens wrapped in cloths and placed in a box or plastic in the refrigerator! I was damn pissed with the people who did that! The animals can't speak for themselves. Luckily, there are these people from SPCA to speak up for them and help them to get justice! I want to be one of those people to help these poor animals too > < Paul McCartney once said "You can judge a man's true character by the way he treats his fellow animals." I totally agree with him!
As for <<Dog Whisperer>>, after watching it, I feel like having my own dog! Here are some of the small dogs I would like.
(1) Toy Poodles.

(2) King Charles Spaniel

(3) Bedlington Terrier

For big dogs, I would like:
(1) Golden retriever

(2) Collie

(3) Labrador retriever

(4) German Sherpard

Ahhh~ aren't they cute?

Personally, I have three guinea pigs. My babies~ LOVE THEM <3
Cookie
Oreo
Muffin

Haha, that's me with my cousin's dog, a Bedlington terrier. A very sweet and quiet dog.

Hence, in conclusion, don't buy animals on impulse! Don't buy just because they are cute. Buy when you have the capability to take care of them. Treat them well and they will love you!
I shall end off with a quote which I really like.

Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms.

School weeks

It's three weeks into school and it felt like it was only a few days since school started. I had been procrastinating like mad. I'm becoming lazier and lazier and is still in holiday mood~~ What's more, my sister is having her holidays now. I wonder how she get the mood to study when I was having my holidays. Should really start learning from her.

Anyways, this past two weeks had been quite tiring though I procrastinate quite a lot. Heehee. However, I felt that there's lesser workload compared to last semester. Probably it is just the starting of a new semester. I should start having a time plan to keep me from procrastinating!

Let's not talk about school and talk about something more fun and happy. My sister got her ukulele, the one I bought for her!! I had been learning and teaching her some songs. Actually, two songs only... Haha! Taught her the first bar of Minuet in G and she managed to figure out the second bar herself! Can't wait to learn more songs together! Maybe we should do a cover. Haha, she playing her ukulele while I play my guitar! Haha, sounds fun!

Yesterday, channel 8 was showing <<Summer Holidays, 夏日的麼麼茶>>. Though I've watched that  for an umpteenth times but I realised, I never get bored watching it! That movie is so sweet and awesome. It reminds me of the time when I went there with my family for holidays! That More More Tea Inn, the beach, the fun times there. I can still remember vividly the things we did there. Gosh, I feel like crying already! Why does time flies so fast? If only I could rewind time... Hopefully, I could go there again, with my family and cousins or my friends. It's really a nice place!(':

If you have not watched the movie, you should really go watch it!

Look at the beach there, LOVE IT! Hopefully it will maintain this way, nice and beautiful!

It's late and I have to go to school tomorrow. Oh, and I'll be blogging less often now since school had started. So, till I blog again, see ya(;

XOXO

Thursday 11 October 2012

All nice things always have an end.

Time flew really fast. It's 11 Oct already. I still remember when it was just the starting of September when people were singing and saying "Wake me up when September ends." That time I was thinking, when it's time to wake up, school is reopening soon, luckily there's still one more month for me to relax and enjoy my holidays. However, I didn't expect September to past so fast! It's less than one week till school reopens, five more days to be exact. Soon, it will be hectic weeks for me, projects after projects, assignments after assignments, tests and exams. No more such relaxing and dontknowwhattodo days and weeks. *sigh. Can't wait for the next holidays already. However, there's this tiny part of couldn't wait for school to start and facing all the upcoming challenges.
This last week of holidays, I felt that I had spent it well. Went for TCP Portfolio Workshop on Monday and a followed up Workshop, Coaching Clinic 1, just yesterday. The speaker said about being successful and said "Success is addictive." Man, I totally agree with that quote! Anyway, so far I've learnt that it's important to know yourself well, have a goal and always have your portfolio ready. I am also having guitar practices from Tuesday all the way to Saturday to prepared for the Guitar concert. Nervous yet excited! I've always wanted to learn to play guitar but I've never imagined myself actually playing one and even going to perform in the concert. Though I only learnt plucking and not strumming and singing along while playing, I am happy too. At least I know how to play a guitar. I've also learnt a bit of strumming from the seniors. P.S. I only remember how to play C Major. Hahahha!

A random but nice picture I found in tumblr.

My Guitar! Her name is Vintagie~ Love her to the max though I always complain pain after playing her. Sounds weird...

It's time for me to sleep. Gotta go guitar rehearsal from 2 to 10. Tired.
So, till I blog again, see yaaa~

Awesome Sentosa

I was back in sentosa with my seconday school friends! Forth time and probably the last time going to sentosa this holiday. Different feelings and types of fun I had for the four times I went to sentosa. This time, we didn't frisbee not ball to play but we played with the water, 'slept' and had some heart to heart talk. Not only did I brought home fond memories, I brought home sunburnt too. The weather was in favour of us that day. Not only it didn't rain, the sun was damn hot too. Making the sand and our shoes super hot which caused us(actually Ahma and I only, haha..) to jump around like some crazy people. Haha!! All in all, it was an awesome day! Felt blessed to have friends like them! <3
I want to go!

My favourite picture!

Which effect nicest? Hahah!
