School weeks

It's three weeks into school and it felt like it was only a few days since school started. I had been procrastinating like mad. I'm becoming lazier and lazier and is still in holiday mood~~ What's more, my sister is having her holidays now. I wonder how she get the mood to study when I was having my holidays. Should really start learning from her.

Anyways, this past two weeks had been quite tiring though I procrastinate quite a lot. Heehee. However, I felt that there's lesser workload compared to last semester. Probably it is just the starting of a new semester. I should start having a time plan to keep me from procrastinating! 

Let's not talk about school and talk about something more fun and happy. My sister got her ukulele, the one I bought for her!! I had been learning and teaching her some songs. Actually, two songs only... Haha! Taught her the first bar of Minuet in G and she managed to figure out the second bar herself! Can't wait to learn more songs together! Maybe we should do a cover. Haha, she playing her ukulele while I play my guitar! Haha, sounds fun!

Yesterday, channel 8 was showing <<Summer Holidays, 夏日的麼麼茶>>. Though I've watched that  for an umpteenth times but I realised, I never get bored watching it! That movie is so sweet and awesome. It reminds me of the time when I went there with my family for holidays! That More More Tea Inn, the beach, the fun times there. I can still remember vividly the things we did there. Gosh, I feel like crying already! Why does time flies so fast? If only I could rewind time... Hopefully, I could go there again, with my family and cousins or my friends. It's really a nice place!(':

All nice things always have an end.

Time flew really fast. It's 11 Oct already. I still remember when it was just the starting of September when people were singing and saying "Wake me up when September ends." That time I was thinking, when it's time to wake up, school is reopening soon, luckily there's still one more month for me to relax and enjoy my holidays. However, I didn't expect September to past so fast! It's less than one week till school reopens, five more days to be exact. Soon, it will be hectic weeks for me, projects after projects, assignments after assignments, tests and exams. No more such relaxing and dontknowwhattodo days and weeks. *sigh. Can't wait for the next holidays already. However, there's this tiny part of couldn't wait for school to start and facing all the upcoming challenges. 

This last week of holidays, I felt that I had spent it well. Went for TCP Portfolio Workshop on Monday and a followed up Workshop, Coaching Clinic 1, just yesterday. The speaker said about being successful and said "Success is addictive." Man, I totally agree with that quote! Anyway, so far I've learnt that it's important to know yourself well, have a goal and always have your portfolio ready. I am also having guitar practices from Tuesday all the way to Saturday to prepared for the Guitar concert. Nervous yet excited! I've always wanted to learn to play guitar but I've never imagined myself actually playing one and even going to perform in the concert. Though I only learnt plucking and not strumming and singing along while playing, I am happy too. At least I know how to play a guitar. I've also learnt a bit of strumming from the seniors. P.S. I only remember how to play C Major. Hahahha!

Awesome Sentosa

I was back in sentosa with my seconday school friends! Forth time and probably the last time going to sentosa this holiday. Different feelings and types of fun I had for the four times I went to sentosa. This time, we didn't frisbee not ball to play but we played with the water, 'slept' and had some heart to heart talk. Not only did I brought home fond memories, I brought home sunburnt too. The weather was in favour of us that day. Not only it didn't rain, the sun was damn hot too. Making the sand and our shoes super hot which caused us(actually Ahma and I only, haha..) to jump around like some crazy people. Haha!! All in all, it was an awesome day! Felt blessed to have friends like them! <3

Past few weeks~

Haven been blogging for a while! Haha! Had been busy lazing around. Haha...

So, here's what I had been doing for the past few weeks!

Went to sentosa with LikeaBoss(Strings camp group) on Monday. An awesome bunch of people!

Confession of a bookworm

While most of the girls of my age are out shopping, I am at home reading these past few days. I am left with one more book to complete the '1800-where-are-you' series. I know this is for ages 10 to 14 but before you judge or stereotype me, I LOVE MEG CABOT BOOKS and I had been wanting to read this series long time ago! Felt so happy that I managed to find them in the library! It is really an awesome book!

Here's the synopsis of the series from Wikipedia:

Her powers allow her to know the exact location of missing children; after seeing a picture of a person, they appear in her dreams. Baking time~

Anyone can cook. ~ Chef Gusteau in Ratatouille.

To match with this post, I shall change it to 'Anyone can bake.' It’s quite true though. All you have to do is to mix all the ingredients together and voilà, it done! The hardest part I felt that is the controlling of the temperature of the over. That's the reason why I love baking! Had been doing some baking these few days. Baked brownie last Thursday. It turned out to be quite successful but a bit too sweet.

Then, after watching 26hours/day, my father wanted to bake tofu bread, so we baked it yesterday! I had nutella and chocolate chips as my filling! We then had it as our breakfast. I think the skin was too thick and I put too little filling but it was super filling!

Pancake mix, tofu and whatever filing you want are all is needed for this tofu bread!

Today, I went baking with my friends! We baked cookies, and I decided to try something that I saw on tumblr. I wrapped the cookie dough around an oreo and baked it! It turned out superb!  I don't know whether   to call today's baking a success or failure. I think it falls in between as most of our cookies were burnt!

Haha, another round of baking tomorrow! Signed up for a cupcake workshop! Can’t wait!!

Such an insane week

I had been preparing for my exams the past few weeks which explains why I had not been blogging. Yesterday was the last paper, and it’s finally freedom now! Whoohooo~ I am so dead for my papers. Not confident at all. I am going to do damn badly for this semester. Shall be more discipline next semester and do well for the papers in next semester. Heard that next semester is going to be hard! All the best~~

Anyways, I could really like to give a big thanks to all those who are there for me during my exams. I really appreciate all those things you people did for me!

Hopefully I wouldn’t disappoint them which I think I am going to… hopefully I wouldn’t need to repeat any modules. Why am I talking about this again? OK, shall stop talking about results.

Went back to St Margs on the 3^rd this month for Speech Day. Oh, how much I miss there. The 5 years I spent there were really unforgettable. It’s a place where I met my best friends. It’s a place where studying seemed so fun to me. It’s a place where all the nice memories will stay. A word of advice to all my juniors, enjoy your time there. It’s when you leave there; you start to miss every single bit of things there.

The First, The Best.

My first post in this new blog, I shall delicate it to my birthday! Haha!

I had a simple birthday lunch session with my secondary school classmates on Saturday. I was super happy to see them! We didn’t really have TRXJ meeting ever since we left school. <3 <3 So sad that Joyce didn't managed to come.

Anyway, while on the way there, I missed the Holland Village bus stop. Had to walk all the way to Holland V. For those who take 106, you should know the distance between the Holland V stop and the stop after it. It was super tiring. A lesson learnt: find out the bus route before taking it!

There were quite a few of restaurant in Holland V and we have decided to settle with Everything with Fries. I think the price was quite reasonable but will be better if they could include drinks!

 I went to Ice-cream Frenzy to celebrate my birthday with my relatives at night! Wanted to buy my favourite Banganwan Solo chocolate cake but there’s no stock for that size that we wanted. In the end, we just bought the new flavor! It tasted quite similar to my favourite cake but the quality like no good… Still satisfied, anyway!  :D

I had a mini celebration with my classmates on my birthday itself.

During OB tutorials and I was reading and really concentrating on our BMGT project (Opsie!) then suddenly, they started singing birthday song to me! I really got a shock!

They were so sweet! They even bought a birthday cake for me! Love TB10! Heehee!

So, after school, we went to KAP to celebrate my birthday with the cake! While on the way there, Kimmie, Cynthia and I were so high that we started singing covers and speaking Chinese. Haha, why we so cute? Hahahha… over there, we sang happy birthday and there goes the favourite part of birthdays. They smashed cream on to my face (exaggerated a bit!:D). I went to wash up and came back to take a group picture. My dear Cynthia went and smashed cream on to my face again! Awww… We always have this tradition for birthdays in our class, but didn’t know it will happen onto me. Heehee! They gave me the whole cake to bring home. In the end, my parents bought another to celebrate with me! Hahah! Ate 4 cakes in just 4 days. Growing horizontally already! But, no choice! It’s my birthday! <3
